Abstract
Media, entertainment, and other forms of popular culture play a significant role in shaping our perceptions of others. For many of us, popular culture is the primary way we learn about people who are different from us. The problem, though, is that many representations are based on cultural stereotypes, which tend to marginalize and caricature members of non-dominant groups. Through these representations, we see a limited, and distorted, view of others. Both entertainment and news media are powerful forces in creating and perpetuating negative cultural stereotypes, especially about racial and ethnic groups. In television and film, characters from non-dominant racial and ethnic groups often fall into formulaic tropes, and their storylines easily follow cliché narratives. The consistency of these representations reinforces stereotypes and makes them more readily available in our minds. Over the last decade, museums have experienced a strong cultural shift from object-oriented towards audience-oriented strategic approaches. The new approaches need to be addressed due to social change and the advent of communication technology as a result of the establishment of new forms of community. This research paper examines the relevant literature on this transformation and presents supportive evidence of the impact that social media have upon the relationship between museum institutions and their audiences. The Department of Museums Malaysia’s Facebook page provides a comprehensive evaluation of the museum’s general social media strategy. Given the widespread and dominance use of Facebook and other social media, the degree of engagement of museum institutions and social media seem to have become an inseparable factor on the scale of effectiveness of the relation with museum audiences and the levels of visitor attendance. The purpose of this research aims to provide an initial comprehensive set of insights into the use of social media by museum institutions by using one of the most prestigious museums in Malaysia as a case study.

By having findings on the conflict, paper suggest legitimization from the realm of psychological repertoires by following Kurt Lewin model of change for peaceful resolution of Palestine conflict on concluding notes.

Abstract
Digital technology is essential in teaching and learning mathematics to understand the basic concept and the way of problem solving technique. The primary observation found that the mathematics lecturers are not fully utilizing digital technology in their classroom, while teaching engineering students. A survey was conducted to study the barriers preventing the integration and adoption of digital technology in teaching mathematics. Five major barriers were identified: insufficient lecturer training opportunities, inadequate technical support, and lack of knowledge about ways to integrate digital technology to enhance the curriculum, lack of time in the college or university schedule for involving Information and Communication Technology and unavailability of digital resources for the students to access the necessary mathematical materials. To overcome some of these barriers, this research proposes a prototype system for teaching and learning mathematics. The prototype system consists of three users; administrator, lecturer and students. It has many amenities such as lesson planner, assignments, collection of mathematical tools, resources storage, and mathematical guidelines, latest research and projects, forum and so on. The prototype system will be prepared for teaching and learning mathematics much more interesting, inventive, innovative, exploratory, and user friendly manner.

Abstract
Human Resource Management (HRM) practices play a crucial role in an organization. HRM practices consist of appropriate tools that need to be analysed and suited to the organization’s objectives. This paper studied employee retention at the National Hydrographic Centre (NHC) and how each selected HRM function can meet its objectives. The objective of this study was to explore and examine the training, compensation, empowerment and appraisal practices toward NHC’s employee retention. The framework was adopted from (Hong et al., 2012) on how to retain the best employee and engage them with the NHC community. Four hypotheses were developed based on this framework to study the relationship between the four constructs with employee retention. Using Google Form, 251 questionnaires were distributed to the NHC personnel from the Sections and Unit under the NHC structure, and 200 questionnaires were returned. Statistical analysis was used to analyse the data. The results showed that all the variables were significant, with β = 0.580 for training, β = 0.452 for appraisal, β = 0.363 for compensation, and β = 0.284 for empowerment. The findings serve as an added value added for HRM practitioners and a guideline for future HRM practices to implement new policies, new benefits to the staff welfare and HRM programmes.

Abstract
There is growing concern on environmental impacts resulted from building operation system and concern for the environment in people lifestyle. Among questions that has been arose was related to sustainable theme parks destinations-are they even exist? It is evident in few studies indicate that major theme parks are starting to give their inherently unsustainable operations a fresh, green implementation. Environmental footprint matters for theme park as it operations contribute to the increasing of waste generation, water and power used. Thus, this paper aims to study on the green implementation for theme park in Malaysia. Reassuring to achieve the aim, two objectives were established: 1) to identify ways in conserving energy through technical and operational enhancement, 2) to discover the important criteria for green theme park implementation. Literature review and in-depth interviews have been conducted. Experts opinion were employed in getting rich data for the study. The result shows that there was initiative for implementing green concept in Malaysian theme park. Technical aspects that associated with green implementation for Malaysian theme park were consumption of energy, consumption of water, construction, maintenance, management of waste, materials and the design of theme park. Expanding lifespan of theme park, decreasing the use of chemical elements and rate to run the equipment can save a lot of energy contribute to the operational aspects of green theme park. Materials, energy efficiency, water efficiency were among important criteria needed to implement green theme park. Many efforts to discover green implementation have been conferred into green theme park in project management cycle.
